Botox (onabotulinumtoxinA)
Botox was the first neurotoxin used to treat muscle spasm issues and the first to be used for cosmetic purposes.
Botox was approved by the FDA in 2002

Juvederm Fillers
The Juvederm Family is a collection of fillers made by Allergan over the years. They have many uses. The principal use is to fill in deep wrinkles and furrows in the face. They also can be used to fill in dep scars including scars from acne. One notable exception is Juvederm Voluma XC which is primarly used to fill the cheek, giving more prominent cheekbones to restore a more youthful contour of the face.

Volbella XC
Volbella is a Juvederm product that was specifically developed to enhance the lips. It is used to make the lips fuller and give more contour. It can also be used to reduce or eliminate the little lines that surround the lips. Typically this product will last at least 9 months and typically a year or more. It is a little les thick of a product than some of the other Juvederm fillers.

Kybella
Kybella is a unique product that is designed to melt away the submental fat pad. That is the pad immediately under the skin below the jaw. It requires more than one treatment but has a very long lasting effect in that it gets rid of that pad. When that is done the skin hopefully is elastic enough to raise up and get rid of the double chin. If the skin is too loose or “turkey neck-ish” then the results will probably not be as good.
