About Infinity Health DPC
Dr. Hanson founded Infinity Health DPC in 2016 after deciding to phase out of being involved in the corporate-centric direction that health care was continuing to amplify. Refusing to bow to the whims of the industry, Dr. Hanson eventually opted out of all insurance programs and trusted that his patients would embrace the direct relationship with their physician. It made taking care of people, which was already a privilege, enjoyable again without interference from third parties. As the practice continued to grow Dr. Hanson was looking for like minded doctors that he could trust and who were willing to take the same step. Dr. Hanson was fortunate to find Dr. Samia Suleman also shared that vision and possessed attributes that were clearly patient-centered. It was a natural move to merge to increase the direct primary care access to folks of our region.

The Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice framework includes any practice model structured around direct contracting with patients for monthly or annual fees which serve to replace the traditional system of third party insurance coverage for primary care services. Typically, these periodic payments provide patients enhanced services over traditional fee-for-service medicine. Such services may include real time access via advanced communication technology to their personal physician, extended visits, in some cases home-based medical visits, and highly personalized, coordinated, and comprehensive care administration. The AAFP supports the physician and patient choice to, respectively, provide and receive healthcare in any ethical healthcare delivery system model, including the DPC practice-setting.
